Chasters Restaurant: A Culinary Gem on the Sunshine Coast

Beautiful outside space. We had a fantastic dinner with well prepared food and friendly service. Chef made pasta for our daughter, which she loved. Overall we had a awesome dinner will come back soon. Highly recommend.

Me and my families had a great dinner here. The restaurant is in a heritage building, which is full of characters. All the dishes we ordered were well balanced and rich in flavours. My favourite dish is the duck wings, braised in maple syrup and soy sauce, it's so tender and flavourful! The service is awesome, our server is very friendly and attentive, and make our dinner extra special.

My husband and I stayed at the Bonniebrook Lodge for a long weekend, and we chose to have dinner at Chaster’s on our first night. We were not disappointed! We devoured the carrot coconut ginger soup and filet mignons. The currant sorbet was a perfect ending to the meal. Izabelle was a delightful and attentive server and made our experience feel extra special. The view was the cherry on top—we saw multiple orca pods swimming up the coast for the first half of our meal. This is the perfect spot for a special night out with loved ones.

Amazing meal here tonight! Food is absolutely delicious (scallops and catch is the day). Elle was a wonderful host and we had a lovely view of the ocean. Would highly recommend!

From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the scenic views that perfectly complemented the delectable food. It was evident that the chef poured their heart and soul into each dish, creating a symphony of flavors that delighted my taste buds. While the food and view were unquestionably exceptional, it's worth noting that the service could be improved. During my visit, there was only one gentleman doing most of the serving, which led to a slower pace of service. However, I believe that the quality of the food and the overall experience compensated for this minor inconvenience. We have dined here three times and each time have had a very enjoyable experience. The service is always excellent, as is the food. The atmosphere is calm and friendly and comes with a great view of the ocean. The chef is a hidden gem in this quiet town and Lee and Isabella are fun, professional and helpful while carrying out their host and server duties single handedly. Anyone staying in the Gibsons, Sechelt area should give this restaurant a visit.

Food was good. They didn't have the brownie for dessert that was listed on the menu.

Food is very good and the atmosphere is peaceful with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Our server Lee made the evening especially wonderful by being attentive and fun. I would rate 6 stars if I could!
